“His ascension means that Jesus has completely overcome those powers that appeared to overcome him.” – Rev. Allen Callahan
Whether you’re Christian or not, I believe that the above quote can be referenced for all of us regardless of our spiritual path in life.
How many times have we felt that we were overcome by powers or situations bigger than us? Leading us to believe that we had no power over them? Feeling that they were meant for our doom or destruction….
Although we don’t live in a time where we will be tortured and crucified, it’s funny how events and situations sometimes feel like that, don’t they?
We feel beaten, exhausted and without hope.
Faithless, lost and confused.
Yet, if we look at resurrection symbolically, it just reminds us that there will always be life after that situation. A positive outcome if we choose to embody it, face it and make the necessary changes needed to overcome it.
Yet it is our own free will to accept or condemn those situations or events into a perspective of experience, and a plea of courage to endure and move further with light and love.
Resurrection to me brings awareness, hope and assurance that even those things that seem to be our destruction are only a stepping stone for us to move further into our own divine choices and path.
It reminds me that I am never alone, for God is always with me because I am a Child of Light.
It brings to me a perspective that my situations are sometimes so petty when really compared to so many other devastating realities that could exists.
The resurrection brings me a sense of admiration and confidence that all situations could be reborn and made new for a higher purpose that I could possibly never fully understand.
May peace be with you, and may your hope, faith, projects and goals take on a new rebirth that will guide you to the life of everlasting peace, joy, health, abundance and happiness at all levels.
